New HIE 3.0 Platform Update – Alerts, Query & Retrieve Now Available

Published On: November 5, 2020

Health Current, Arizona’s Health Information Exchange (HIE), is pleased to share an important update about our new platform – HIE 3.0, the third major platform technology change in our organization’s history.

First, the following HIE services are now available from the new platform:

  • Real-time alerts,
  • Batch alerts,
  • Dynamic alerts, and
  • Document Query & Retrieve (Click here for an explanation of how Query & Retrieve works.)

New Year, New Platform
To date, over 200 participating organizations in Arizona are utilizing the new HIE 3.0 platform for their COVID-19 Alerts. As we move into Q4 2020 and prepare for 2021, we encourage you to follow their lead and migrate to the new platform.

You’ll want to make the switch. The new platform is a vendor-agnostic, cloud-based solution that promises to offer improved user experience, system performance, and reliability.

Migrating the above services to HIE 3.0 is a simple process – and it starts with you contacting your designated Health Current account manager or HIESupport@healthcurrent.org to set a target date to migrate over.

The goal is to have all Arizona HIE participants migrate to the new platform by December 31, 2020.

Migrate to HIE 3.0 Today
Again, we encourage your organization to start the process for migrating to the new HIE 3.0 platform as soon as possible.

If you have any questions about the migration process or the new platform in general, don’t hesitate to contact your account manager or email HIESupport@healthcurrent.org.

We thank you in advance for collaborating with our team to ensure a smooth transition of your organization to the new HIE 3.0 platform.
