Larisa Krueger

Larisa joined Contexture with a recent Master of Science in healthcare delivery from Arizona State University. She focused her degree and Capstone in quality improvement and process engineering with Barrow Neurological Institute, where she exercised her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. During her schooling, she taught seven semesters of microbiology labs at the university level. She gained clinical and research experience as a Surgical Undergraduate Research Fluency Intern. She developed measurement tools for appropriate burn patient admission and gained immense shadowing experience in the operating rooms at Valleywise Medical Center.

When asked what she loves about her work, Larisa says, “I’ve found a love for bringing together the fundamentals of triple aim and quadruple aim to implement quality improvements that lead to better outcomes. Utilizing my clinical experience with both patients and providers has given insight to the gaps in care and how the changes being made affect all parties involved.”
