Health Current Reaches Significant 600th Participant Milestone
Published On: May 29, 2019
Caring Connections for Special Needs recently became Health Current’s 600th Participant when they joined in early May. Caring Connections for Special Needs provides services to children who have behavioral health and other special needs, providing year-round, 24/7 in-home or on-site services and respite care in several southern Arizona locations. Shannon Casey, Chief Operating Officer, is pleased with the access to information that participation will bring. “We are excited to get more involved with Health Current” Casey said. “ The process has been easy and straight forward. We are looking forward to exploring the HIE and all of the benefits it can provide for our members.”
The addition of Health Current’s 600th participant continued the rapid growth that Arizona’s HIE has seen for more than three years. In 2018 Health Current continued a third straight year of rapid growth, adding another 171 participants in 2018 and adding nearly 500 participants over the past three years.
